Product Release Notes – Version 1.40 (Winter 2026)
This release introduces visual improvements to Staff and Scheduling Calendars, new hover details for calendar events, greater flexibility when creating quotes and sale items, improved payment link validation, expanded filtering on the Gantt Chart, enhancements to notifications and integrations, and several usability fixes and cleanups. What’s New & Improved
Staff & Scheduling Calendar Enhancements
Staff and scheduling calendars now provide clearer visual cues and improved consistency across views.

Staff calendar events now use each staff member’s selected calendar color.
A default medium blue is used when no color is selected.
Event text automatically adjusts to white or black for readability.
Staff name tiles display a color indicator matching the staff calendar color.
List views now show color-coded bullet points per staff member.

Updated styling across Scheduling Calendars (including Dispatcher):
Sales Reps 1 and 2 are highlighted with a darker border and lighter blue background.
Current and pending Sales Appointments feature a fully colored border, bold italic header, and diagonal striped background.
Calendar Event Hover Details
Calendar events now surface more information at a glance.
Staff Calendar event tiles now include hover tooltips.

Event Deletion by Non-Owner Users
Event cleanup is now handled more reliably in automated scenarios.

Non-owner users can delete related Event records when:
Sales Reps are removed from a Sales Appointment (when Create Events for Sales Appointments is enabled)
The Assigned To value is removed from a Project Activity (when Create Events for Project Activities is enabled)
Behavior is controlled via Custom Settings > Trigger Settings.
Dynamic Field Rendering for Sales & Quotes
Creating sales and quotes is now more flexible without custom development.

Field Sets now control fields shown during creation for:
Sale Items
Quote Items
Quote Template Items

Key behavior:
Required fields (Quantity and Unit Price) always display.
Custom fields added to the field set automatically appear.
System fields display as read-only and are visually disabled.
This enables teams to tailor Quick Actions to their business needs.
Service Capabilities Cleanup
To reduce confusion and unused configuration:

Service Capabilities have been removed from:
Staff Calendar capability selections
Time Block Calendar capability selections
Staff page layout
The Service option has been removed from the Department field on Time Blocks.
These fields were not used by any system functionality.
Payment Links – Improved Validation (PaySimple)
Payment delivery reliability has been improved.
Payment events not generated from payment links are now ignored.

A new Delivery Error field identifies why a payment could not be delivered, including:
Missing payment URL
Missing email or email template
Missing phone number or texting template
PaySimple Hosted Payments permission set has been updated.
Payment Links without an External ID can no longer be used for webhook matching.
Gantt Chart – Record Type Filtering
The Gantt Chart now supports filtering by Project Record Type.
Users can filter projects by type (e.g., Installation, Service).

Filter behavior:
Displays only record types the user has access to.
Hidden when viewing a Project record or when no record types exist.
Badge shows the number of selected record types.
Inquiry Enhancements
A new Status field has been added to the Inquiry object.

Available values:
New (default)
Open
Duplicate
Dead
Completed
Out of Area
Field is unrestricted and included in relevant permission sets.
Staff Appointment Notifications

Users can now send email notifications for:
Sales Appointments
Project Activities
Notifications can be sent directly from List Views using an updated Apex Action.
Vendo Integration – Canceled Appointment Sync
Sales Appointment cancellations now stay in sync with Vendo.
A new Vendo External Id field stores the Vendo appointment ID.

When a Sales Appointment is marked Canceled:
A cancellation request is sent to Vendo.
Status values are set to “canceled.”

Error handling:
Errors are logged in the Vendo Errors field.
Errors are cleared on successful cancellation.
No request is sent if the Vendo External Id is blank.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Project Activities could not be saved after entering valid Start and End Date/Time values using the Edit Dates quick action.
