Time Block scheduling can be used to assign Sales Appointments to a Block of time, rather than immediately assigning to a Sales Rep. This can help with faster Appointment scheduling, particularly if your Appointment setters are not familiar with your Sales team and who would be most appropriate to run the Appointment.

To Enable Time Block Scheduling, first navigate to Setup
Go to the Custom Settings menu
Next to Scheduling Settings, click Manage
Next click Edit. Here you will be able to enable Time Block Scheduling for Sales Appointments or Project Activities, or both.
Note: you can enable BOTH the Scheduling Calendar AND the Time Block Calendar. When one is open the other will collapse automatically.
