Document Templates

Each improveit 360 system includes three (3) out-of-the-box Document Templates. This Article will review the formatting of each Template as well as the fields used to populate each Document.

Lead Sheet

Generated from a Sales Appointment record, the Lead Sheet Document pulls data from the Sales Appointment and displays fields that the Rep will need to report back to the Office (if not Resulting through improveit 360). 

Using the PDF Generator click the arrow next to Lead Sheet and choose Download

Compare the Fields on the Sales Appointment record: 

• Contact and Address (Note: Capitalization will be reflected exactly on the Document as it was entered in the system. Data Entry inconsistencies will show up on Documents)
• Date/Time
• Duration
• Sales Rep 1
• Source / Source Type
• Taken On / Taken By

 

Quote Document

Generated from a Quote record, the Quote Document pulls data from the Quote as well as the Quote Items. 

Using the PDF Generator click the arrow next to Quote and choose Download

Note: This document does not contain a Signature line. If using in conjunction with a Document tool like DocuSign, you will need to add a signature capture within DocuSign. 

Now, let's compare these fields to the fields on the Quote and Quote Items: 

Quote:

• Contact and Address (Note: Capitalization will be reflected exactly on the Document as it was entered in the system. Data Entry inconsistencies will show up on Documents)
• Subtotal, Sales Tax and Total 

Quote Item(s):

• Product Name
• Quantity
• Unit of Measure
• Description
• Unit Price
• Item Total

Invoice Document 

Generated from a Sale record, the Invoice Document pulls data from the Sale as well as the Sale Items. 

Now, let's compare these fields to the fields on the Sale and Sale Items: 

Sale:

• Contact and Address (Note: Capitalization will be reflected exactly on the Document as it was entered in the system. Data Entry inconsistencies will show up on Documents)
• Total
• Total Payments
• Balance Due

Sale Item(s):

• Product Name
• Quantity
• Unit of Measure
• Description
