When someone has left your company you'll want to enter an End date on their Staff record. This ensures that the Staff member no longer appears on the Scheduling Calendar when we're booking Appointments or Project Activities. If this person was also logging into the system, you will also need to Deactivate their User to ensure they cannot login and access your company's data.

If your company is new to improveit 360 and you are setting up your system for the first time, it's important to enter an End date for anyone who no longer work for your company.
From the App Launcher menu, search for "Staff" and select the Staff object
Be sure to check the "All" Staff List view to make sure you are viewing all Staff records. Use the down arrow to change which List View you are viewing.
If you need to enter End dates for multiple Staff at the same time, you can check the boxes on the left side of the list to select more than one record. Then, double-click in the End date field to enter the same date for multiple records. Be sure to select "Update X selected items" then click Apply.
You can Edit single Staff records from the List as well, or open the Staff record by clicking on the Name. Doulble-click on any Field to Edit the staff record.
Best Practice: Be sure your Active Staff members have the appropriate Capabilities for the Product Categories they might sell or install.
Once you have Ended the Staff record, you will also want to Deactivate their User.
Note: If you are setting up your system for the first time, you do not need to deactivate Users.
Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen
Navigate to the Setup menu
In the search, search for the "Users" menu
Click on the Users menu
Select the "Active Users" list view and locate the User you need to deactivate.
Next to the User you need to Deactivate, click Edit
Uncheck the Active checkbox and click Save
This ensures the User no longer has login access to the system.
