In this Article we will show how to modify your Report Date Range, data Groupings as well as the order in which Data is sorted. Note: In order to Sort report data, your Report must have at least one (1) Grouping.
Salesforce Relative Date Values allow you to easy query data within List Views and Reports based on convenient rolling date ranges like "Last 30 Days" or "Last 2 Months." When using Relative Date Values it is important to understand their definitions.
For Example, "This week" is defined by the Locale dropdown list on your personal information page. For example, when the Locale setting is US English, a calendar week runs Sunday through Saturday, whereas with UK English, a week spans Monday through Sunday.
Relative date filters let you filter on date fields using easy-to-understand, human-speech-inspired syntax.
For example, instead of filtering on Sold On date greater than or equal to Jan 1, 2023 AND Sold On date less than than Jan 1, 2024, you can instead filter using a Relative Date Value of: Sold On date equals THIS YEAR.
Capitalization doesn't matter in relative date filter operators. THIS YEAR works, as do This Year and this year.
