The Custom Settings menu contains custom improveit 360 settings related to Territory Weighting, Scheduling Preferences, Calendar Settings, Document Settings, and more!
The Protected Settings menu falls under Custom Settings but can only be seen and accessed by Salesforce or a Salesforce OEM Partner (improveit 360). In order to make changes to the Protected Settings, an Admin User will need to Grant Access to improveit 360's Support team. Continue reading to find out more...
Accessing the Custom Settings menu
Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and go to Setup
Search for Custom Settings and go to the Custom Settings menu
Note: Standard Users and Admin Users will not be able to see Protected Settings.
Let's review each of the Custom Settings and how they are used.
Note: If you open any of the Custom Settings and there is not at least one (1) Organizational Default record, you will need to click the New button and create an Organizational Default for each Custom Setting.
Calendar Settings
The Show Business Hours Only setting allows you to choose whether or not the Scheduling Calendar respects your organization's Default Business Hours.
When set to True, the calendar shows only business hours from Company Information if active, this settings affects all calendars (Staff Calendar, Time Block Calendar, and Dispatcher). If inactive, all 24 hours are displayed.
Dispatcher Settings
Days in Past to Query: This setting may be removed. If active, it shows days in the past on the Dispatcher.
Enable Source Filter: Allows you to filter on Sources in the Dispatcher. Note: this page may have upcoming style changes.
Number of Records to Query: How many records show in the records dropdown on the Dispatcher.
The Number of Records to Query setting will limit the number of Sales Appointments or Project Activities visible in this view on the Dispatcher:
Documents Settings
PDF Generator URL: Must be enabled by clicking "New," automatically puts in URL to allow use of PDF Generator tool. See also: Configure PDF Generator
Location Settings
Enable Address Verification: Enables Address Autocomplete.
Enable Geocoding: Populates Latitude and Longitude for Address records.
Smarty Use Zip Plus Four: Adds the additional 4 digits to the 5-digit Zip Code (ex. 75093-1234).
Note: these features only work for US customers.
Payment Settings
Use PaySimple Sandbox: If checked, this will copy PaySimple information to a Sandbox when a new Sandbox is created.
PaySimple Use Stored Accounts: Must be enabled for using PaySimple.
Scheduling Settings
Default Sales Appointment Duration: Sets default Sales Appointment duration.
Use Project Activity Time Blocks: Use Time Blocks for Project Activity scheduling.
Use Sales Appointment Time Blocks: Use Time Blocks for Sales Appointment scheduling.
Note: New Settings are coming related to using the Scheduling Calendar and the Time Block Calendar within the same Org.
Territory Settings
City Weight: Determines weighting of Address records for Territory automation
County Weight: Determines weighting of Address records for Territory automation
Enable Territory Automation: Populates the Territory value on an Address record based on the Field Weighting in the Territory Settings menu.
State/Province Weight: Determines weighting of Address records for Territory automation
Zip/Postal Code Weight: Determines weighting of Address records for Territory automation

Texting Settings
These settings house the information used to integration with Twilio for sending and receiving text messages.
Note: If you open this Custom Settings and there is not at least one (1) Organizational Default record, it means texting has not been setup for your system. This record is typically created by improveit 360's staff when setting up the Text messaging service.
Trigger Settings
Create Events for Project Activities: Creates native Salesforce Events for Project Activities
Create Events for Sales Appointments: Creates native Salesforce Events for Sales Appointments
Default Staff on Sale Item: Auto assigns Sale Item to Staff
Most Recent Appointment: Displays the most recent Sales Appointment on the Sales Opportunity
Sale Status Automation: Stamps the date each of when Sale Status is updated on the Sale
Sales Appointment Sale Item Total: Stamps the Sale Item total on the Sales Appointment
Sales Appointment Sale Total: Stamps the Sale total on the Sales Appointment
Set Default Account on Primary Contacts: Sets a default Account on the Primary Contact
Time Block Scheduled: Tells you that the Time Block has been scheduled
Update Payments Received on Project: When Payments are assigned to a Project, it updates the Payment Received on the Project
Update Project Totals: Adds the Sale totals to the Project
eLead Automatic Conversion: If unchecked, eLeads will not automatically convert to Accounts, Contacts and Sales Opportunities. They will need to be manually converted.
Protected Custom Settings
These settings are accessed only by Salesforce or a Salesforce OEM Partner (improveit 360).
Note: End Users and Admins will not have access to this section of the application.
PDF Generator Auth Key: Paste key here to enable PDF Generator
PaySimple API Key: API Key for PaySimple integration
PaySimple Username: Username for PaySimple Integration
Smarty Auth ID: Used to enable Address verification and Address auto-complete.
Smarty Auth Token: Used to enable Address verification and Address auto-complete.
Geocodio API Keys: Used to populate Latitude and Longitude for Address records.
Enable EverConnect Leads: Opens up endpoint for EverConnect leads to come into the system
One Click Contractor: Opens up endpoint for One-Click Contactor to result Sale Opportunities and Sales Appointments.
Granting Access to Protected Settings
Login to the Org as our Admin user. Navigate to Settings (user Settings, not Setup)
Under Personal Information, go to Grant Account Login Access
Choose the option for improveit 360 Support and set the expiration to 30 Days.
Contact improveit 360 Support for Assistance
Our team will access your system through Subscribers to adjust Protected Settings.
All integrations will be setup through this menu, such as PaySimple Payment processing integration, One Click Contractor integration, eLead integrations and more!
