Set up and create Paths to keep your team organized and on track with a visual Path. In this example, we will use the Sale Status and create a Visual path to show Users where the Sale is within the Status Path.
To enable Paths in your org, go to Setup
Navigate to Path Settings, then click "Enable"
Select "New" to create a new Path.
Step 1: Fill in the Path Name and select the Object you wish to have a Path on. If this Object has multiple Record Types, select which Record Type this Path is for. Finally, select the Picklist that your Path is based on.
Step 2: For each Picklist Value, select fields that may be helpful for your team to review and include text.
Step 3: Activate your Path and click "Finish"
After completing and activating your Path, you'll need to add it to the Lightning Record page so it is visible.
Go to Setup > Object Manager > click on the appropriate Object > Lightning Record Pages > select appropriate Lightning Record Page > click Edit
Note: If you do not see "Edit" as an option, you may need to clone the Lightning Record Page in order to edit it. If you clone the page, be sure to rename it so you can easily identify it.
Search for "Path" in the available components. Click and drag "Path" onto the Lightning Record Page.
Save and activate your Lightning Record Page.
Click the dropdown arrow in the Path section to display the key fields and help text you included when creating the Path.
