This Article covers the primary features of improveit 360 Lightning and the level of access which is needed on each Object for the feature to function properly. Be sure to read carefully. This Article covers what object records your Users will be able to View and Edit based on these mandatory permissions.
Lead Entry staff will need the permissions to the Objects above when using the Quick Lead tool. This means your Lead Entry team will be able to Edit Accounts, Contacts, Addresses and Sales Opportunities. They will also be able to View Lead Sources and Sales Appointments.
Appointment Scheduling staff will need permissions to the Objects above when creating new Sales Appointment records. This means Appointment Schedulers will be able to Edit Accounts, Contacts, Sales Opportunities, and Sales Appointments and Addresses. Appointment Schedulers will be able to View Sales, Projects and Project Activities.
Q: Can Sales Appointment be Edited without view access to the Sale, Project or Project Activity?
A: No. The User must have at minimum "Read" access to the Sale, Project and Project Activity objects to schedule and edit Appointments. This means Sales Reps who Result Appointments will need Read access to Sales, Projects and Project Activities.
Q: Can a Quote be created without access to Sale, Project, and Project Activities?
A: No, must have at minimum "Read" access on Sale, Sale Items, Project and Project Activities with Read, Create and Edit on Quote and Quote Items.
When Resulting as Sold the User will need Read permissions to additional objects, Sale Item and Loan. Note the User also needs Read on Projects and Project Activities. The permissions above also mean that Sales Reps resulting Appointments will be able to Edit Accounts, Contacts, Sales Appointments, Sales Opportunities and Sales Appointment Opportunities. Sales Reps will be able to View Loans, Projects and Project Activities.
When creating Projects your Project Managers will need to be able to Edit Sales Appointments and Sales Opportunities. Project Managers will also be able to View Accounts, Contacts, Addresses, Sales Appointment Opportunities and Project Activities.
Q: Do you need Read access to Sales Appointment to see Project?
A: No, Read is not needed on Sales Appointment in order to View Projects. Users will need Read and Edit on Sales Appointment in order to Create Projects.
Q: Do you need access to Sale to see Project?
A: Yes, Read is needed on Sale to View and Edit Projects.
Q: Do you need access to Sales Appointments to create Project Activities?
A: Yes, Read is needed on Sales Appointments (whether they are schedulable or not) when creating Project Activities.
