Turn OFF Automated Task Assignment Notification Emails to User

All licensed users are automatically set up to receive email notifications when a Task is assigned to them in the system. 

In Setup > Activity Settings - if both Activity Reminders and Enable User Control over Task Assignment Notifications are CHECKED, this will allow the end-user access to their own setting to opt-out/disable receiving these automated emails. 

 

To Opt-Out

Login as the End-User > go to My Settings > Activity Reminders > Uncheck 'Email me when someone assigns me a task'.
